Build the operating foundation first

Welcome to PITCH Owner 01. A reliable workspace begins with the operating foundation, not with live customer work. In this module, you will use the Launch PITCH guide to review six setup areas in order, verify each one, and know when the workspace is ready for the team.

Use the launch guide without locking work

From Dashboard, select Open setup guide. The guide keeps all six launch steps in one place and shows your progress. Nothing is locked while you work. You can open a step, return later, or skip the guide entirely. Skipping only hides the guide; it does not disable any PITCH feature.

Set company identity and workflow

Start with company details so documents and customer communication use the correct company name, phone number, timezone, and logo. Then review the workflow. The phases and statuses should match how your company moves a job from lead through payment and closeout. Establishing these two areas first gives the rest of the team a consistent operating model.

Invite the team and connect email

Next, invite the team. Give each person an individual login and the role needed for their work. Never share the Owner login. Then connect outgoing email so estimates, appointments, and customer updates come from the company sender. Complete the provider connection and send a successful test before you mark the email step complete.

Build pricing and create a practice job

Build the pricebook before the team creates live estimates. Start from a suggested trade template or create a custom form, then verify labor, materials, options, cost, and selling price. Finally, create the first training job. Use it to confirm that customer information, workflow, ownership, appointments, and pricing move together the way your company expects.

Complete the launch review

Now complete the launch review in a non-production workspace. Open each setup destination, verify the required information, and return to the guide. Mark a step complete only after the result is correct. An Administrator can help with operational setup, but Owner access changes stay with the Owner. You are ready when all six steps work together and the first practice job can move cleanly through the workflow.
