How to disconnect providers or request removal

Disconnect a provider

  1. Sign in as the workspace owner, administrator, or authorized owner of a personal mailbox connection.
  2. Open Company → Integrations, Company → Company Email, or your personal mailbox settings.
  3. Select the connected provider and choose Disconnect.
  4. For additional control, revoke PITCH from the provider's connected-app or security settings.

Disconnecting removes PITCH's stored access and refresh tokens for that connection. It does not delete records already created in PITCH or information retained by the provider. Google access can also be revoked from the Google Account connected-app page; Microsoft access can be revoked from Microsoft My Apps.

QuickBooks Online disconnection

When an owner or administrator disconnects QuickBooks, PITCH sends a revocation request to Intuit and permanently deletes its locally stored access and refresh tokens. If Intuit cannot confirm revocation, PITCH still deletes the local tokens and tells the administrator to remove PITCH from the QuickBooks connected-app settings. Disconnecting does not delete records already created in PITCH or QuickBooks.

Xero disconnection

When an owner or administrator disconnects Xero, PITCH requests removal of the selected organisation connection and permanently deletes its locally stored access and refresh tokens. If Xero cannot confirm removal, PITCH still deletes the local tokens and tells the administrator to remove PITCH from Xero connected apps. Disconnecting does not delete records already created in PITCH or Xero.

Request account or workspace data and deletion

A user may initiate a request from the linked Data Access and Deletion screen in PITCH or email privacy@plugandplayco.com from the registered email address. Include the company name and whether the request is for access, export, correction, account deletion, or full workspace deletion. PITCH verifies the requester's identity and authority, confirms the scope and retention limits, and communicates the expected completion timing. Only an authorized workspace owner can request deletion of company-controlled business records.

Accounting, payroll, tax, and legal holds

Deletion does not override required recordkeeping. Ledger history, payroll and employment-tax records, pay statements, filings and workpapers, transaction evidence, professional approvals, dispute records, and security history may be retained for the period required by federal, state, or local law, contract, professional standards, or a legal hold. IRS guidance generally requires employers to keep employment-tax records for at least four years. PITCH blocks final disposition while a configured retention rule or active legal hold applies.

What may be retained

Deletion removes or de-identifies information that PITCH is not legally or operationally required to retain. Limited billing, transaction, payroll, tax, professional, security, dispute, backup, or compliance records may remain for the documented retention period. Data in managed backups ages out through the hosting plan's normal point-in-time-recovery window and is not restored for ordinary product use after deletion.

Customer requests

A homeowner or contractor customer should normally contact the contractor that collected the information. PITCH will assist verified workspace owners with appropriate requests and will respond directly when applicable law requires it.
